Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information Core Development ("we", "us", "the Store") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Store you agree to this policy.
1. Information We Collect
- Account (Discord): when you sign in with Discord we receive your Discord user ID, username, avatar, and email address (if provided by Discord).
- Profile: an optional Minecraft username you choose to add.
- Purchases: records of the plugins and add-ons you buy, amounts, currency, and order timestamps. We do not receive or store your card or bank details.
- Affiliate program: if you join, we store your referral code, the sales attributed to it, your balance, payout requests, and the PayPal email you provide for payouts.
- Usage analytics: basic events such as plugin page views and checkout starts, associated with your account when you are signed in. We use this to understand which products are popular.
- Technical data: our hosting provider may log IP addresses and request metadata for security and abuse prevention.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To authenticate you and manage your account and licenses
- To deliver downloads and provide access to what you purchased
- To assign the Customer role on our Discord server after a purchase
- To operate the affiliate program, track commissions, and send payouts
- To understand product usage and improve the Store
- To prevent fraud, abuse, and to comply with legal obligations
3. Payments
Purchases and affiliate payouts are processed by PayPal. When you buy, PayPal handles your payment details directly and shares only confirmation data with us (such as the transaction ID and amount). When you request an affiliate payout, we send funds to the PayPal email you provide. Your use of PayPal is subject to PayPal's own privacy policy and terms.
4. Cookies
We use a small number of cookies, all functional rather than advertising:
- Session cookie — keeps you signed in
- Referral cookie — remembers a referral code from a shared link so it can be applied at checkout
- Consent cookie — remembers that you dismissed the cookie notice
- Platform cookies — our host, Vercel, may set cookies needed to serve and secure the site
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
5. Service Providers
We rely on the following providers, each with their own privacy policies:
- Discord — authentication and community roles
- PayPal — payment processing and affiliate payouts
- Vercel — hosting, file storage, and platform logs
- Turso — database hosting
6. Data Retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. Purchase, payout, and tax-relevant records may be retained longer where required for accounting or legal purposes.
7. Your Rights
Depending on where you live (for example under GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. You can request any of these by contacting us via Discord. We may need to retain limited records to meet legal obligations.
8. Children
The Store is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from children below that age.
9. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above.
